Puerto Rico
My family is from Puerto Rico and I have fond memories of visiting the island when I was a child. I was able to visit my paternal grandmother in Ponce and my maternal grandfather in Bayamón. These memories and the inspiration of my family in New York City fueled my work on my forthcoming book about Pedro Albizu Campos.
